Chamber Dollars are easy to purchase and they make great gifts that promote our own Chamber of Commerce businesses! They may be purchased in amounts of $5, $10 or $20 by contacting the Chamber at pdrchamber@htc.net, or by calling 618-284-7308 or 618-284-1709. Chamber Dollars may be redeemed with any merchant listed on the back of the certificate, and they expire one year from the date of purchase.
Simply use your certificate at a participating merchant as you would cash. You must make a purchase of a least half the face value of the certificate, and the balance will be returned to you from the merchant in cash. Certificates cannot be split between two different merchants and cannot be used on two different dates. Once redeemed, any change due will be given to you immediately and the certificate becomes the property of the merchant.
To redeem each certificate for its face value, businesses should contact the chamber at pdrchamber@htc.net, or 618-284-7308, or 618-284-1709. Certificates may also be mailed to the Chamber at P.O. Box 342, Prairie du Rocher, IL 62277. Upon receipt of the certificate(s), a check for the total face value will be issued by the Chamber directly to the business that redeemed the certificate. Chamber Dollars will only be issued in the amounts of $5, $10 or $20 to prevent large outlays of cash by the merchants at any given time.
